Cindy Graves

Vice-President of Development and Communications

Cindy has held senior leadership roles in the not-for-profit sectors for more than 15 years. A strategic thinker strong on execution, she has successfully raised millions of dollars and led the fund development and communications for grassroots agencies and large national and international organizations like the Canadian Red Cross and Simon Fraser University. She is the Founding Executive Director of Kids Up Front Foundation (Vancouver) where she is most proud of turning the start-up organization into an integral part of the social fabric of Vancouver and helping improve the lives of thousands of kids and families. A passionate storyteller, she is thrilled to join The Bloom Group and share many incredible stories of resilience and hope.

Fauzia Khimji

Vice-President of Human Resources

Fauzia comes to TBG from the corporate HR world with over two decades of experience in increasingly complex organizations in several industries. Most recent of those is the Construction industry. Fauzia has brought her skill, energy, and enthusiasm to the work we provide to our valued employees and stakeholders. She provides leadership in all aspects of HR and continues to collaborate with senior leadership to further develop our human resources goals and strategy, while staying aligned to the mission. When not at her day job, she spends her time volunteering in the community, studying the alternate healing world and is an energy healer, yogi, and crystal lover.  She is passionate about bringing the Human into Human Resources and helping to bridge the gap between employee and employer.  She looks forward to supporting our vision to make a difference to the lives of the people we serve.

David Kruyt

VICE-PRESIDENT OF FINANCE

Dave Kruyt has been working in finance and accounting for over 30 years.  He has spent the last 15 years as a CFO/VP Finance in the insurance industry and has sat on numerous government and community boards, including Island Health and BC College of Nurses, where he played an active role in the merger of the three nursing disciplines.  He maintains an ongoing relationship with the nurses’ college, having moved to the finance committee after completing five years on the board. Dave is a graduate of SFU, and holds a CMA/CPA designation, having been awarded a fellowship in 2013.  He has also earned his ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
