In 2021, The Bloom Group was awarded for the third consecutive time, a Three-Year Accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), for our women and children, hospice, mental health, and supported housing services, as well as our governance, administration, and business functions. The award recognizes the quality of both our direct service delivery and our management practices. Accreditation from CARF is official, third-party recognition that our organization is guided by internationally recognized standards, and serves as a public statement that we strive to ensure that our services are of the highest possible quality. CARF International is a non-profit accreditor of health and human services. CARF provides a framework then consults and advises organizations to help them improve their service quality. Accreditation demonstrates that The Bloom Group is committed to reducing risk, addressing health and safety concerns, respecting cultural and individual preferences, and providing the best possible quality of care. The Bloom Group is a member of The Federation of Community Social Services of BC, an organization representing more than 140 organizations providing support to individuals and communities in BC. The Federation works to develop a vibrant and sustainable community social services sector in BC.
