Thinking differently about public relations, communications, and community engagement informed Patti’s launch of Karyo Communications 40 years ago, a company she started independently, grew into the largest PR firm in British Columbia, and sold to Edelman, the largest PR firm in the world. Patti left Edelman in 2015 to return to her roots as an independent consultant with PSM Ventures Inc. A practitioner first, Patti has gained extensive experience helping clients tell their stories in the corporate and not for profit sectors. She has led large teams on complex, integrated communications assignments, and specializes in issues, crisis and reputation management.
